Get organized! – in an onion time of weeding trial where no herbicides were used with the weeds controlled by hand at 14 day intervals on a moderately weedy site. Leaving the weeds for 14 days after the emergence of the onions followed by weed free for rest of season, still caused measurable losses (10% or so). Like wise when Diclofop was new, and still worked very well on ryegrass, yields losses from delays in spraying were totally predictable.
